Sonia Liza Williams born in Lima, Peru, learned at a young age to speak foreign tongues. Although Spanish was her first language, English, French and Italian followed. She gained fluency in German, Russian and Portuguese as well. Ms. Williams obtained her "BA" in Translation & Interpretation at the Ricardo Palma University in Lima and went on to receive a masters degree from the Monterey Institute of International Studies (MIIS) in CA.
Attesting to Williams proficiency as a translator and interpreter are two recent awards from the Florida Chapter of the American Translators Association. "Her reputation not only as a linguist but as a professional is absolutely top notch," said the president of the Florida Chapter of the ATA association.
The biggest highlights of her career have been working for U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein as well as other political and international figures and interpreting at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta.
Among her list of clients: Motorola, Unisys, InterGen, Deloitte & Court Reporting Agencies, banking institutions, insurance companies, government offices such as Social Security, Unemployment and Workers Compensation, etc.
